Expo Chianti Classico is the time of year when this region’s iconic wine meets the public in the very heart of its homeland. In Greve in Chianti, the only event capable of bringing together producers from all the Chianti Classico municipalities in one square, the event celebrates the identity and strength of an extraordinary wine region.
Born in the 1970s as the Mostra Mercato, then becoming the Rassegna and finally the Expo, it continues to be the reference event for discovering and tasting the best of Chianti’s products.
In addition to tastings, the program enlivens the village with art, culture, rural traditions, and opportunities to meet the winemakers up close and visit vineyards and cellars.
Here is the program of the event.
