Among the most evocative experiences of the season is A(rt) Message
in a Bottle, an open-air exhibition wherecontemporary creativity
meets winemaking. The installation features monumental bottle-shaped sculptures, each three meters tall,
reinterpreted by seven emerging young artists selected in
collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence.
Marcela Castaneda Florian, Daniele Cornacchia, Alice
Fantoni, Marta Lazzaroni, Francesca Morabito, Giada
Muzzi, and Andrea Pagliuca have transformed these
wine symbols into poetic and provocative artworks
that explore the relationship between humanity and
nature, as well as themes of beauty and responsibility.
Scattered throughout the landscape, these works
invite visitors on immersive routes enriched with QR
codes that reveal insights, stories, and connections to
the private art collections of local wineries.
Sunset Notes and Sips of Chianti
Classical music lovers will find enchantment in the Chigiana
Chianti Classico Experience, a concert series born from the collaboration with the prestigious Chigiana Music Academy. These performances bring
the Academy’s young talents into some of the region’s
most enchanting wineries. Scheduled at sunset, the
concerts blend the emotional power of chamber music
with the sensory delight of tasting Chianti Classico
against the golden backdrop of Tuscan vineyards.
Three Centuries of History Told on Stage
Equally distinctive is the theatrical offering
Dalmillesettecentosedici, a title that pays tribute to the
300-year history of the Chianti Classico designation.
Created in collaboration with the Arca Azzurra
company, the show combines live acting, historical
readings, period music, and guided tastings. The
multisensory experience is led by food and wine
journalist Leonardo Romanelli and Florentine actor
Dimitri Frosali. For international visitors, an English
audio translation is available via QR code.
