Six Michelin-starred chefs, wines from the Greve in Chianti winemakers, and a grand table in the heart of the town. But above all, an event that once again transformed food and wine into a concrete gesture of solidarity.
Greve in Chianti returns to celebrate taste with TastingGreve Food Edition 2026, the event that brings together some of the finest expressions of Italian cuisine and Chianti Classico from the Greve in Chianti winemakers.
An event created to showcase the region through one of its most immediate languages: food, wine, and conviviality. A format that over the years has won over the public thanks to its ability to combine haute cuisine and an informal atmosphere, bringing renowned chefs to the heart of Greve and transforming the town square into a vast open-air table.
This year’s chefs were once again coordinated and selected by Leonardo Romanelli, who brought together six leading figures in Italian cuisine: Alessandro Della Tommasina, Stelios Sakalis, Stefano Pinciaroli, Nicola Gonchi, Silvia Baracchi, and Andrea Sacchetti.
Six different interpretations of cuisine, united by the desire to offer the public dishes that showcase technique, territory, and creativity.
The common thread, of course, is the Chianti Classico wines from the Viticoltori di Greve in Chianti, featured alongside the chefs’ dishes in a gastronomic journey designed to highlight the connection between wine and cuisine.
TastingGreve is more than just a celebration of taste.
As in previous editions, proceeds from the event will go to the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation, helping to support its projects promoting children’s health and care.
And this is perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of the initiative: the opportunity to be together, drink a good glass of Chianti Classico, taste great dishes, and, at the same time, contribute to something that goes beyond the simple gastronomic experience.
TastingGreve Food Edition thus confirms a formula that works: bringing excellence out of restaurants, directly into the local area, and transforming it into a moment of encounter, sharing, and solidarity.
For one evening, Greve once again becomes one large table. And wine, cuisine, and the local area all sit together.
