On Friday 11 September, Taste and Talks takes to the stage at the Expo Chianti Classico with a series of conversations dedicated to producers, territory, culture and creativity.
A programme designed to get to know the people behind Chianti Classico, through short, informal conversations, personal stories and curiosities, naturally accompanied by their wines and projects.
From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, six meetings will take place at the Media Lounge, bringing together different voices and perspectives, all connected by their passion for the Chianti Classico territory.
Friday 11 September programme
2:00 pm – Altiero
Paolo Baldini and Samuela Serra
The afternoon opens with Paolo Baldini and Samuela Serra of Altiero, who will share the story of their winery and their personal way of experiencing and interpreting Chianti Classico.
2:30 pm – Francesco Sorelli
Presentation of his book “La Molecola della Civiltà”
An encounter that goes beyond wine to explore culture and knowledge. Francesco Sorelli will present his book La Molecola della Civiltà, opening up a conversation about one of the most fascinating and important substances in human history.
3:00 pm – Viticoltori Montefioralle
Sofia Ruhne and Sebastiano Capponi
The focus then returns to the territory with the Viticoltori di Montefioralle. Sofia Ruhne and Sebastiano Capponi will take us on a journey through one of the most distinctive areas of Chianti Classico and introduce us to the people who help bring its identity to life.
3:30 pm – Conti Capponi
Sebastiano and Neri Capponi
A journey through the history and present of one of the territory’s historic families. Sebastiano and Neri Capponi will talk about wine, family, identity and their long-standing relationship with a land that has been part of their story for centuries.
4:00 pm – Maya Design 
The exclusive “Pinocchio” wine glass – Lorenzo Cintelli and Sofia d’Amico
An encounter between wine, design and creativity. Lorenzo Cintelli and Sofia d’Amico will present the exclusive “Pinocchio” wine glass, a project that brings an original and contemporary interpretation of one of Italy’s most iconic characters into the world of wine tasting.
4:30 pm – Fattoria Santo Stefano
Elena Bendinelli
The Friday programme will close with Elena Bendinelli of Fattoria Santo Stefano, who will share the story of her winery, its heritage and its connection with the Chianti Classico territory.

This is the spirit of Taste and Talks: going beyond the wine glass to discover the people, ideas and stories that make the Chianti Classico territory so unique.
