It’s not just about tastings. This year, the 54th Chianti Classico Expo is taking audience engagement to the next level, with new formats, contests, talks and activities designed to bring people closer to Chianti Classico in a contemporary, fun and accessible way.

From September 10 to 13, Greve in Chianti will once again become the heart of the event dedicated to Chianti Classico. Four days of wine, local culture, music and entertainment, enriched this year by a series of new initiatives designed to make the Expo an even more engaging experience.

Many of these initiatives are being created and coordinated by Chianti Magazine, the official Media Partner of the event.

Media Lounge: the heart of the conversation

One of the most dynamic spaces at the Expo will be the Chianti Magazine Media Lounge, a meeting point where producers, guests and key figures from the event will be interviewed and featured through videos, photos and social media content.

A way to take the Expo beyond Greve and share the people, businesses and stories that make Chianti Classico unique with audiences around the world.

How well do you really know Chianti Classico?

Wine will also take center stage in a quiz dedicated to Chianti Classico.

Questions, curiosities and a little friendly competition will put visitors and wine lovers to the test. A simple and fun way to discover just how much we really know about one of the world’s best-known wine regions.

Expo Chianti Classico - Best Label

Expo Chianti Classico – Best Label

You don’t choose a bottle only for what’s inside.

This year, the Expo is also celebrating the creativity of its wineries with the Expo Chianti Classico – Best Label contest, dedicated to the most outstanding wine labels featured at the event.

An opportunity to showcase design, creativity and the ability of wineries to express their identity through the image of their bottle.

And the public will have a say in choosing the winner.

Taste and Talks: a new way to talk about wine

Among this year’s most interesting new initiatives are the Taste and Talks.

Short tastings and informal conversations with Chianti Classico producers and key figures from the region, designed to bring people closer to wine without technical jargon or unnecessary formality.

Just a few minutes, a glass, a taste and, above all, plenty of stories.

Because behind every wine there are people, places, choices and ideas worth discovering.

The Chianti Classico Expo World Map

And you, where are you from?

At the Expo, you can discover it through the Expo Chianti Classico World Map, an installation designed to showcase the region’s international dimension.

An immediate and engaging way to visualize how well-known and appreciated this event is around the world and, at the same time, how many people travel from far and wide every year to experience this area.

And then… the Lucky Glass!

Because no wine celebration would be complete without a little bit of luck.

This year’s Expo will also feature the Lucky Glass, a simple and immediate game designed to get visitors involved during the tastings.

A little element of surprise that adds even more fun and light-heartedness to the Expo experience.

An Expo to experience, not just visit

There is one common thread running through all these initiatives: making the Expo even more engaging and participatory.

Wine naturally remains the protagonist, but around the glass there will be plenty of opportunities to play, discover, talk, share and learn something new.

Because Chianti Classico is not just a wine to taste.
It is a territory made of people, wineries, landscapes, stories and culture.
And this year, in Greve, there will be even more ways to experience it.
